About me
Kristen Van de Riet plays a central role in the Child Welfare and Addiction Fellowship training program, providing clinical supervision and facilitating workshops. She is a licensed clinical social worker and the program manager for Chesterfield County’s Adult Outpatient Services program. She graduated from VCU with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2007 and received her MSW from VCU in 2009 where she was also a recipient of the Child Welfare Stipend Program. She worked in child welfare until 2012 and has since dedicated her career to supporting treatment and recovery services for individuals, families, and communities impacted by substance use and mental health.
