About me
Jennie Reynolds has over 30 years working in healthcare and has spent the last 28 years at Elevance Health. She joined Anthem HealthKeepers Plus July 2013 which currently serves approximately 480,000 members. She came to the health plan as the CFO, progressed into the role of COO, and is the Anthem Virginia HealthKeepers Plus Plan President.
Prior to joining the Anthem’s Virginia Medicaid Plan, Jennie’s career included a variety of corporate roles developing data driven cost of care strategy, unit cost budgeting, and trend analytics and mitigation.
Jennie worked at MCV hospital while pursuing her MBA. After a brief period working in commercial insurance, Jennie was introduced to Medicaid. This was the point that her personal experience of growing up in a very impoverished region of West Virginia became entwined with her professional development in health care. Her passion became her mission.
Jennie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She sits on the Board of Directors of United Methodist Family Services, Virginia Foundation for Community Colleges and Fit for Kids. She lives on a farm with her husband and two spoiled dogs.
