About me
Rachel Boles is an alumni of the Child Welfare Addiction Fellowship program. She graduated with a Master's in Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021. Rachel interned with the Mathews Department of Social Services from 2019-2020, and since 2020 has been working for MDSS as a Family Services Specialist. Rachel primarily works as the in-home (foster care prevention) worker and is also the Reunification Specialist, working directly with biological parents of children in foster care to support reunification efforts. Since graduating from VCU, Rachel has also worked as a Supervisee in Social Work with private agencies completing Parental Capacity Evaluations, facilitating intensive outpatient substance use treatment groups, and providing individual therapy services to adolescents and adults.
