About me
As associate director and resident senior fellow in the R Street Institute's Healthier Communities department, Stacey leads the organization's behavioral health portfolio and helps coordinate research and outreach across the policy area. Her research and writing focus on how policy shapes the risks associated with substance use and how smarter government and free-market tools can help mitigate those risks. Her policy work is informed by her lived experience as person who used to use methamphetamine as well as nearly two decades studying substance use in the U.S. and abroad.
